Utility Assistance

During the year, various utility programs may be available based on funding. Applicants must be income-eligible and participate in an educational workshop/session before the release of the payment to the utility company. 

2025 WATER Program

The 2025 WATER Program is a temporary emergency program to help low-income households pay overdue water and wastewater bills. This program is available to low-income homeowners or renters.

WATER funds will be used to assist income-eligible residents in Clinton, Eaton, Ingham, and Shiawassee counties with water and sewer bills, shut-offs, and reconnection fees.
