Head Start students will receive more STEM kits in 2022. Delta Dental of Michigan, Dart Foundation, and Impression 5 Science Center have renewed STEM kits for CACS Head Start students.
These STEM kits provide engaging hands-on education tools for parents and kids during the Covid-19 pandemic. Learning kits will be delivered locally to an estimated 1,600 children in the Head Start and Early Head Start programs. Each kit will focus on an area of STEM and includes oral health supplies.
This year teachers will also receive STEM kits! Teacher kits will focus on chemistry, engineering, and physics. Students will receive a kit at home every other month starting in February, while teachers will receive a kit for in-class learning on the alternating months.
CACS Head Start is thankful for local organizations like Impression 5 Science Center, The Dart Foundation, and Delta Dental who not only continue to think about how to give back to their communities, but also how to help Head Start children.
