Notice of Public Comment Period on Proposed Fiscal Year 2022

Community Services Block Grant Plan

Capital Area Community Services, Inc. will accept Public Comments as required by the State of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services’ CSBG State Plan for FY’2022. 

Public Comments are being accepted on the CSBG FY’2022 proposed plan from:

August 26, 2021, through September 9, 2021.

The Plan Summary is as follows: A total of $1,163,744 in CSBG funds is planned to be utilized in the CACS service areas of Clinton, Eaton, Ingham and Shiawassee counties.

Proposed funds will be used for the general purpose of services for those at or below 125% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines in the following areas:
Housing, Emergency Services, Health, Nutrition, Linkages, Self Sufficiency, Income Management, Educational Enrichment, Employment and Support Services
